CoMoFarm is a small collaborative project which will develop better ways to produce recombinant pharmaceutical and industrial proteins in plants and plant cells.
The consortium comprises ten European research organization and industry partners and the project is funded for three years under the European Commission 7th Framework Programme.

Our mission
The mission of the CoMoFarm project is to develop high-yielding production systems for recombinant proteins. These systems will be based on plants, plant tissues and plant cells and will be used for the large-scale production of pharmaceutical and industrial proteins under standardized environmental conditions so that the resulting proteins show a consistent yield and quality.
